Motivational workshop for creating 2000 new entrepreneurs held at Daffodil International University (DIU).
Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) conducted a motivational workshop and guideline for business and company formation for the students of Daffodil International University on 31st December, 2013 at DIU Auditorium as a part of developing 2000 new entrepreneurs. Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) in cooperation with Bangladesh Bank have taken an initiative of developing 2000 young entrepreneurs in the country. Chief of DCCI Entrepreneurship project and Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University Md. Sabur Khan was the keynote speaker of the workshop session where about 300 interested entrepreneurs took part. Mr. Mohammad Shibli Shahriar, Coordinator (Training), Career Development Center moderated the motivation session and gave a power point presentation on this regard.
Sharing his views with the participants Mr.Md. Sabur Khan said that honesty, perseverance and innovation can make a successful entrepreneur. He also opined that to be a successful entrepreneur, sustainable energy and agro-processing sector can be some of the potential sectors. He also termed that through ‘DCCI Help Desk’ DCCI will facilitate the new entrepreneurs in getting business license.
Mr. Md. Sabur Khan answered different questions raised by the entrepreneurs of Daffodil International University regarding how to become a successful entrepreneur. He said that the main objective of creating 2000 new entrepreneurs is to meet up the challenge of creating employment opportunities.
